(Anti-)Stokes scattering on kinks

A bstract At leading order, there are three inelastic scattering processes beginning with a quantum kink and fundamental meson. Meson multiplication, in which the final state is two mesons, was treated recently. In this note we treat other two, (anti)-Stokes scattering, kink’s shape mode (de-)excited contains one case of general scalar kink, find analytic formulas for forward backward amplitudes probabilities as functions momentum incident The results then specialized to ϕ 4 double-well model.

We report polarization coherent anti-Stokes Raman scattering (P-CARS) microscopy that allows vibrational imaging with high sensitivity and spectral selectivity. The nonresonant background signals from both Raman scatterers and the solvent are efficiently suppressed in P-CARS microscopy. We demonstrate P-CARS imaging of unstained cells based on the contrast of the protein amide I band.
